Paul Ryan: President's Agenda Puts America on a Path of Debt, Doubt & Decline
House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan and James Lankford joined Democrats Chris Van Hollen and Karen Bass for a special edition of CNBC's Squawk Box. During the bipartisan discussion on how to fix Washington's broken budget process, Ryan and Lankford stated without a real plan to deal with our growing debt, economic growth and job creation would remain elusive. House Republicans rose to meet this challenge, passing the Path to Prosperity by the April 15th legal deadline. This stands in stark contrast with Senate Democrats, who have failed to propose a budget in 1,000 days, and the President, who has failed to offer a credible plan to pay for his massive spending increases.
