Chairman Arrington Statement on CBO Data Breach

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, House Budget Chairman Arrington released the following statement on the Congressional Budget Office’s data breach.

"A complex foreign actor perpetrated a cyber attack on the Congressional Budget Office (CBO). The House Budget Committee is working closely with CBO, the House Chief Information Officer, and others to monitor the situation, ensure it’s contained, and mitigate any adverse effects of the intrusion."
